How to 转换 candela to lux

How to 转换 luminous intensity in candela (cd) to illuminance in lux (lx).

You can 计算 lux from candela and distance from 光照 source.

You can't 转换 candela to lux, since lux and candela do not represent the same quantity.

Candela to lux calculation

The illuminance E_v in lux (lx) is equal to 10.76391 times the luminous intensity I_v in candela (cd),

divided by the square distance from the 光照 source d² in square feet (ft²):

E_v(lx) = 10.76391 × I_v(cd) / (d_(ft))²

_So

lux = 10.76391 × candela / square feet

_Or

lx = 10.76391 × cd / ft²

The illuminance E_v in lux (lx) is equal to the luminous intensity I_v in candela (cd),

divided by the square distance from the 光照 source d² in square meters (m²):

E_v(lx) = I_v(cd) / (d_(m))²

_So

lux = candela / square meters

_Or

lx = cd / m²
